Heritage Roof & Lead Co. LTD ("we", "us") is a roofing and leadwork company registered in England and Wales, based at 151 Larchfield Road, Maidenhead, Berkshire, SL6 2SJ. What information we collect

• Details you send us through our quote form or by phone, email or social media: typically your name, telephone number, email address, property address and a description of the work you need.
• Records relating to work we carry out for you, including inspection notes, survey photographs of your property, quotations, invoices and correspondence.
• Basic technical information generated when you visit this website, such as pages viewed and general location, used only to keep the site working and understand how it is used.

We do not knowingly collect information from children, and we do not collect payment card details through this website.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

• To respond to your enquiry and provide a quotation, necessary for the steps leading to a contract with you.
• To carry out and administer work you instruct, including scheduling, invoicing and honouring guarantees, performance of our contract with you.
• To keep records for insurance, guarantee, tax and accounting purposes, compliance with our legal obligations and our legitimate interests in defending claims.
• To improve our service and website: our legitimate interests, balanced against your privacy.

We only use photographs of your property in marketing if you have given us permission to do so.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only where necessary with: our own team and trusted subcontractors working on your job; service providers who host this website, deliver our email and manage our customer enquiries; our accountants and insurers; and public authorities where the law requires it. Where a provider is based outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards for that transfer.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are normally deleted within 24 months. Records of completed work, including photographs and guarantee documentation, are kept for at least the duration of any applicable guarantee and for as long as needed to meet legal and insurance obligations, generally six years after the end of the relevant tax year.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask us to transfer it to another provider. Contact us using the details above and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
